Touch The Heart
Touch the heart
the heart of the universe
with a dash of
compassionate love.
All your wishes
all your desires:
now simply prayers
for the greater good.
The heart of the universe:
the source of poetry,
the fountain of music,
of divine dances,
and all that's lovely!
Touch the heart
the heart of the universe
with a dash of
compassionate love.
Shankar 2009

In your light I learn how to love.
In your beauty, how to make poems.
You dance inside my chest,
where no one sees you,
but sometimes I do,
and that sight becomes this art.
Rumi 20th century sufi poet
...anchored in the old straight
tracks of me
arms wingspun in dance
break with the postures of
apology.

TS Elliot

The music spins on a disc...
the disc becomes my mandala
...it spins in my head and reaches down to my toes out through the soles . yes those souls too.
Suddenly I am spinning in harmony with all of existence.
Does this dance ever stop. I pray not.
