11th Nov 09 Well the baby was born on the 17th Aug 09 in the dance hall at a rapid delivery time of 45mins (3min transition, yikes). At 5 weeks I started dancing again, kicked it off with a deep trance state at 'So You Think You Can Trance'. For the last 2 & a half months I've been running at least 1 workshop a weekend between byron, gold coast and sunshine coast with groups ranging from 15 to 100 people. It seems the Orielle (our baby daughter) is very accustomed to the likes of movement and music after 9 months of workshops and classes attended in utero. Lucky me, she is a cruisy baby, so the work continues on.
I have set a realsitic date to go national in Jan 2010 with the conscious dance network. Please please please send in your details if you know of a facilitator or event from outside of byron that we can add to the calendar.
4th August 09 After the success of Splendour I allowed myself to collapse & relax and surrender to the flu I was pretending I didnt have. A week later I still have things to do to prepare for the home birth and a calendar of August to update. There is a delay on the national opening of the conscious dance network due to changes in the pipeline- what's the best software- who is the best tech person to work with, how to get everything automated easily etc... Not being a technological whizz I undersetimated the emnormity of the project in going national. SO please be patient it will happen. In the meantime please excuse the delays in getting the calendar updated this month. Babies have their own agenda!!!
July 09 Ok so I am at ease in front of hundreds facilitating transformational dance but the whole cyber network is new and it feels kinda weird to know you're all out there but having no idea if anyone is listening (or in this case reading/looking/watching) and even using this site. If it is useful let me know if there are missing links or incorrect info- let me know. I want this to work for all of us. What else do you need? or what more would you like?
